  • On 05/26/2011 the first presentation of project objectives SAGE10 took place within the broader presentation of LIFE + projects at the premises of BPI (from the Director Dr K. Machera). The event was supervised by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, and the participants included the staff and the Deputy Minister of the Ministry and social partners (representatives of industry, NGOs) etc. The event was presented on the website of EcoPest (www.ecopest.gr).
  • On 14 & 15 December 2011, a workshop entitled 'Training Materials for Sustainable Use, Directive and Indicators' was held under the contract of BROWSE Project in collaboration with the OPERA Research Center. During the workshop Dr E. Markellou presented the importance of the training of agronomists in order to implement methods such as IAP Method, in our country.
  • On 01-05 May 2012, SAGE10 was mentioned in the posters at BPI’s stand at the Exhibition AGROTICA 2012 in Thessaloniki.
  • On 04/04/2012, SAGE10 Project was presented by Dr Ir. Mantzouni during the workshop of PROSODOL project in Kalamata. The presentation of the SAGE10 both posted on SAGE10 and PROSODOL Projects’ websites.
  • On 8-14 July 2012 Dr E. Markellou presented SAGE10 program in a workshop (as an invited speaker) in the Ministry of Agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the contract of the European project "Plant Health Protection Administration Service" (Contract No EUROPEAID / 128353 / C / Ser / BA).
  • On June 1st 2012, in the anniversary of the 20 years of LIFE program, Benaki Phytopathological Institute and the General Directorate of Agricultural Research of ELGO "DIMITRA" organized a celebration entitled: “New LIFE in AgroEnvironment”. SAGE10 project was presented by the Coordinator Dr E. Markellou.
  • On 09/03-07/2012 SAGE10 was presented in poster in the 3rd international Moravian Conference on Rural Research-EURORURAL'12, concerning «MULTIFUNCTIONAL RURAL DEVELOPMENT», in Brno, Czech Republic. The poster entitled: IAP: A tool to assess and prioritize environmental impacts from olive tree cultivation towards sustainability of agro-ecosystems.
  • On 05/12/2012: Presentation of the Project by the Coordinator Dr E. Markellou to the partners of FP7 - BIOCIRCLE 2 Project, who visited BPI. BIOCIRCLE partners are National Contact Points for the thematic area "Food, Agriculture, Fisheries and Biotechnology" of the 7th Framework Programme (BIO-NCPs).
  • On 12/17/2012: A short description of SAGE10 Project, was made in the Open Day Event of FP7-REGPOT-2008-1 Program: BPI Plant-Heal 230010 entitled "Biotechnology & Safety. Modern Crop Protection" which held at BPI premises and the presentation of BPI Programs was given by Dr Ch. Varveri.
  • On 30/01/2013: Presentation of the Projects’ main environmental actions in the Special Permanent Committee for Research and Technology by the Director of BPI, Dr K. Machera.
  • Article entitled "Determination of environmental footprint for sustainable agro-ecosystems: the case of Mediterranean olive grove" in issue ’97 of the journal of AMPHIBIAN by E.K.B.Y.
  • Presentation of the activities and the outcomes of the Program in networking meeting of projects and organizations involved in the study and treatment of climate change in the context of the European program LIFE oLIVECLIMA: “Olive Clima Introduction of new oLIVE crop management practices focused on CLIMAte change mitigation and adaptation" by Dr Markellou Emilia, Coordinator on 05/28/2013 at Forest Research Institute in Athens.
  • Presentation of the activities and the outcomes of the Program at the 16th European Congress of European Weed Science Society by Associate Professor of AUA Mrs G. Economou in June 21-27, 2013 in Samsun, Turkey.
  • Presentation of the activities and the outcomes of the Program in terms of soil in SOIL PLATFORM MEETING hosted by SAGE10 and held on 24-25 September in BPI, both from the Project Coordinator Dr Emilia Markellou and by partners Dr Panagopoulos Andreas of LRI and Dr Karyotis Theodore of the Institute of Soil Mapping and Classification.
  • Poster at the 15th Congress of Entomology on 10/23/2013 at Kavala entitled “The outbreak of the olive leaf gall midge populations and the importance of natural enemies in their control”.
  • Presentation at the Round table of the 15th Congress of Entomology on 10/23/2013 at Kavala on: National indicators for monitoring the implementation of Directive 2009/128/EC on the national level, by the Project Coordinator Dr Emilia Markellou, including indicators measured in SAGE10.
  • Article in the biannual Newsletter of the Weed Science Society of Greece entitled "Study of the environmental footprint of olive culture - SAGE10”, Issue 2: February 2014, p.9.
  • Presentation of SAGE10 in the 6th Meeting of Plant Protection in Larissa on 02/26/2014 by the Project Coordinator Dr Emilia Markellou. 150 leaflets of the program were distributed and 150 one-page leaflets on "Weeds and olive culture".
  • Article entitled “SAGE10 in Messiniain the newspaper «SHMERINH» on 03/14/2014.
  • Presentation of the activities and the outcomes of the Program in the meeting "Integrated Management of Olive groves. Pests and Diseases" on 03/21/2014 at Atalanti (Fthiotida) from the Project Coordinator Dr Emilia Markellou. Distribution of leaflets and program material.
